The less pedestrians and cars and cops then the faster your game will run. If you like being chased by cops then take the pedestrians down and the traffic down, or vis-versa. - Submitted by Wayne "AlsoFALCONTaz"

Some cars like the New Bettle RSi & Panoz GTR1 are on-road cars, which means they have been lowered. In these types of cars do NOT hit the gutters head on or you will just rebound off which slows you down, try to hit them on an angel this way they won't rebound off.

When cruising in San Fransisco there is a building with an angled surface to the left of the starting point that you can race to the top of.

If you enter the building and drive to the second platform, out side, one story above the ground, you can build speed and race up the surface of the building to the top.

Only cars with high speed and good horsepower can obtain this.
