Grand Theft Auto's Liberty Hints
Selling cars: in the first city (liberty city) the docks are far away from the streets......especially one. This is extremely useful since police cars won't chase you there, even though cops on foot will. Reason why this is useful? well it means you are less "exposed" to the police when they eventually come after you (after stealing a reasonable amount of cars that is). You can stay in the dock area and take quick trips to the street getting the cars. even when you got all the cops chasing you can continue for some while before they get you.
This is just some of the aforementioned fascinating crap. On the first city (liberty City) you jack somebody's car. It has to be one that will make the jump over the broken bridge. Then go to the bomb shop and rig your car. Then go back over to the broken bridge. You have to time this just right so when the bomb goes off you are right over the water (in the air between the two bridge parts) you land it and you can keep on driving because it does no damage to your car. But it wastes the bomb. I just thought it was pretty crap.
During the second level of the first city (Liberty City/Heist almighty) you can get in that little model car as part of one of the missions. If you dump the car in water somehow you fail the mission but you get back another car that doesn't fall apart or anything so you can cruise around in that all you want.
There are 2 tanks in liberty city they are in Northwest Estoria. But only on Heist Almighty.
In Heist Almighty there is a tank in a closed area. You can get in there even if the gates are closed, do it like this: Steal a bus or a tanker or any other vehicle that you slide UNDER. Park the bus with the front as close as possible to the gates, jump out of the bus and run to the back of it, now slide under the bus, when you reach the gates you will slide under them to. This works in all places, under fences and other closed gates.
If the cop's get too hot on your tail and you don't want to lose that precious bonus multiplier you just got after having finished a couple of missions, you can seek shelter in the park, it's just above the phones where you pick up your first mission. If the cops are following you in a car, simply enter this park, and you can outrun them by driving through the park. The cops will not follow you unless they are on foot. Also when you are being chased, use the alleys for quick getaways.
